Or that the pressure of the noose forced her eyes open? Or that it's simply a ref to The Grudge and The Ring? This whole "Mari died on the tree" theory is one of the worst fan theories. It's needlessly cruel and adds nothing to the story. It requires you to ignore all evidence that Mari was dead either on impact or shortly after being brought to bed. It also pins most of the blame on Basil when the twist and self-mutilation imagery hinges on SUNNY having killed her, while Basil helped cover it up

the reason why i began reading this was because Grimm *which i think is obvious* but when i read in reddit that it breaks the fourth wall i was like *WAIT! WHAT?!* and now i finished it, and now i can say, is it well written? *absolutely not, in terms of writing it is garbage, the part i kinda liked was small good detail when the character beingh unable to pull the trigger at werewolf in begining, but pulling it at someone whom he respected in the end, escaping from similar situations which shows he had grewn up and thats simply it* but is it enjoyable: HELL F*CK*NG YEAH, i literally changed my mind about people liking some garbage animes and not populating very good works instead because now i am in the same boat with them, with this manga above Chainsaw man in my list of favourites
